expedition team
The expedition-team consisted out of
.. the author a.petit,
who was in charge to keep the promises of others by his own
expedition. We hope to be able to complete the list with his two libyan
companions, that are still unknown.

Salah
This is Salah, the libyan Guide. He did all the paperwork on the trip
and cooked very good meals in the desert. No problem that was not
solvable. A very funny charakter that studied agriculture.
Saleh
The only driver who did not deny to go El-Jaghbub (and to got several
hundred Km through the desert itself). He made already more than 2.500
Km, before he went home alone from Benghasi. Incredible guy- he is a
teacher for history and plitics at the University!
Jaballah
A real desert-fox from El-Jaghbub. He guided us for two and a half days
through the desert, at the beginning even without a working GPS. No
problem for him, as he said with his everlasting smile.
Mr.
Khalid
The owner of the libyan travel-agency Yamama-Tours. He organised the
expedition in an unbelievable time. How he managed to do this is his
secret. He studied aviation in London and speaks a perfekt english.
My unlimited thanks to all these libyan people!
It is sure, that the expedition would never have reached the target-point without them- and probably not even the near of it! Throught their friendly existence, intelligence and charme I had the possibility to experience the friendship of "the Axe of Evil". This is not replacable by nothing!
